The Gardens’ arboretum has seen around a hundred new trees being planted into it over the last year. The most recent trees have been a varied selection of Pines, Sorbus (Rowans) and Acers. New Planting in Kibble Palace

The Gardens have recently replanted a section of the Kibble Palace with a large range of South African plant species including Proteas, Aloes and Pelargoniums. So come and see this exciting new development – the Kibble Palace is open from 10.00 – 16.15 daily.

Tree workshop drop-in

The Friends are working on a project to promote the National Tree Collections of Scotland, within the Gardens. Now is the time for us to get your views on the ideas so far. All are invited to see the ideas, in the Kibble Palace between 10.30 – 4.00 pm on Thursday 8th November.
