Tours
The 2026 season of free tours of the Botanic Gardens are coming to a close. Tours in the main Botanic Gardens will come an end on Saturday, 26th September. There will be a limited number of tours of the Arboretum in October. Please check the schedule below for updates.
As with our usual tours, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and only service dogs are allowed.
Please note all tours are subject to weather warnings. If the Met Office issues a yellow warning (or above) then tours will be cancelled.
Current tour schedule
For tours of the Arboretum, meet your guide at the noticeboard beside the Kirklee entrance (at Ford Road) few minutes before the tour starts.

General information
These tours are free to the public and cannot be booked. The maximum number of participants on each tour will be restricted to 15 per guide.
If you have special requirements or a group of 6 or more, please email us at tours[at]glasgowbotanicgardens.com and we may be able to arrange a dedicated guide for your party. Prearranged tours would be at mutually arranged dates and times subject to guide availability.

Please note that under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and that dogs are not permitted in the glasshouses so unfortunately the tours are not dog-friendly. Only guide dogs can take part on the tours.
